1,000 Free Rides To Cancer Patients

American Cancer Society and PhillyCareShare team up to get cancer patients to and from the hospital.The donation of vehicles began on January 1,2011 with 100-plus volunteers working for the phillypatientride program.More than 1,000 Philadelphia area cancer patients have benefited from the partnership.Some of the participating Hahnemann,Jefferson,Temple,University of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Hospitals.Anyone interested in volunteering for the program can e-mail info@phillypatientride.org also patients in need of this free service should contact Jamie.McCann@cancer.org.
